What is it?
Our dried mealworms are bursting with nutrients. They provide a high protein snack for insect-eating birds without the inconvenience of keeping live food at home. They retain all the energy of live food — with the added bonus of being clean and easy to handle.

How does it help?
Putting dried mealworms out in your garden will attract a number of insect-eating birds. The high protein content keeps them satisfied for longer and they are ideal for hungry fledglings in springtime. They are also a valuable source of protein when other insects are in short supply due to poor weather.

Sean says:
“With such variation in our weather and often a late spring, keeping a supply of dried mealworms can help plug the ‘hungry gap’, when birds have started breeding but the live insects are not yet in plentiful supply. It can make an important difference to survival.”
